I’m sure I’m not the first to think of this one, but I felt compelled to make it anyway. Maurice Sendak’s books and drawings have had an unquantifiable influence on the work I make everyday. He was a master. So: thank you, Mr. Sendak, as you sail off to rule as the wildest thing of them all.
